Default TVS1320 Magnuson Pulleys

Hello, I've posted on the the JeepForum as well but wanted to get as much input as I could, possibly some overlapping members.

Several of my pulleys took a dump and shredded my serpentine belt. I was left stranded.

I replaced the idler pulley on the motor, have a tensioner pulley coming in, and a couple of different belts (hopefully one works, got different answers from different reliable sources).

I've reached out to Magnuson and they're not really getting me answers I need.

The kit comes with a alternator mounting bracket and it has two pulleys on the back of it, I've been told these are the left/right accessory pulleys. Mine are metal, which I'm told are aftermarket or upgraded. I cannot source these at all. Mine are 54mm and the center bore is around 16mm.

Please help me out, I'm dying to get this thing back on the road. I attached a photo so you can see the part I'm talking about.

I can only assume that since you are talking to Magnuson, you have a supercharger on your jeep and we are not talking a factory setup. That is kinda relevant information when you are asking a crowd that is probably 97% factory regarding pulleys and belt on their jeep. I'd have to think they should be able to provide some information on replacement parts for the kit on your jeep. If not, oh boy.....that is the fun of modifications.

I did talk to Magnuson. They sent me to Superchargers Online. They have the pulley's on backorder so I'm out of luck for a couple of weeks. I was hoping there might be someone who somehow knows of a company who specializes in pulleys, or just had knowledge of this kit overall.

Thank you!

hey fowlken8, was just searching on line for this exact item and came across your thread here. One of the pulleys on that alternator bracket on my 3.6 with the TVS1320 is howling so need to get that changed out. Did you get advice back from superchargersonline as to whether they have the pulleys in stock?

Hey Davo. Please replace them asap so you don't run into my problem, horrible. Short answer, Yes, I believe they are in stock now...I have two that shipped to me yesterday, barely. I don't know if they ordered extra.

What they told me, is those pulleys are only rated for 60-70k miles of service life. Ridiculous. And that they've noticed the Magnuson pulleys are awful and they have already started making Toyota pulleys in-house which are much more durable. He said he's had MANY Jeep owners call in recently and their R&D team is considering doing the same for the TVS1320.

Call them ASAP as I don't know their stock numbers, and it takes 3 weeks to get them made lol

Now let's just hope that I didn't blow my engine once I get it all put together. I'll cry.

Ok thanks for the reply! I got in contact with them, they do have more in stock so lucky me lol. Crazy feedback about the service life etc, but that fits with my mileage etc.
Good luck with your rig, hopefully my hunk of junk is back on the road soon...

Good. I should probably order more considering the service life. And funny, mine literally just went over 70k. At least they're pretty accurate with their product life lol

and thanks, I had to replace every pulley but the one on the blower. And the serpentine belt. I'm just happy yours didn't go boom as well! Good luck to you too.
