Default Dead spot in steering after RNR install

2015 jk. Completely stock at the moment. Sent my factory box off to RNR to have it ported for hydro assist. Just reinstalled it, with the supplied caps (no ram assist yet) and have a dead spot in the center of my wheel when driving. Never had this before and the only thing that changed was me removing the box, shipping it to them, RNR rebuilding it and porting it, and then me reinstalling it.

switched to swepco power steering. This is still pushing factory tires.

super annoying to drive. Any ideas? Yes, I used a ratchet strap on the steering wheel when I originally took the shaft off of the box.

Figured it out! Somehow the track bar on the passenger side came loose despite me never touching it. Flag nut was sticking straight up. Tightened it up and boom. Steering is SOLID!!

so far, just like it was stock. It’s ported and ready for hydro though.

no not yet. Collecting parts. There is a build thread going on over on the JK Talk Section.
