I'm looking to modify my cargo area with a 12v plug and noticed that I already have the stock wire for the 12v plug utilized by the M7 position in the fuse. My question is, how many terminals are supposed to be in this plug? I only have two, is it just a positive and negative that I need? Also, if you have any recommendations on how I can do this mod easier and or have recommendations for hardware please share!!! Thank you.

Jeeping Jeff

Welcome to JKF. Looks like you have a wiring diagram. Not sure what that plug is for. Is it connected to anything now? Do you have the mating plug to go into the one in your hand? If so plug er in and go for it. I believe that is a switched supply.
Jeff,
All you need for a 12 volt outlet is a fused positive and negative connection. Here's a source for a few different types of outlets with different mounting options. 12 Volt Outlet Receptacle (delcity.net)
That is a pretty standard plug and is probably used in other vehicles. That being said the 3rd terminal is for a backlight. Some accessory outlets came with it on other models. Jeep does not use one with the backlight.
