No heat on driver side
Your lack of heat to the drivers side is more than likely due to your heater core being clogged. I know, you wonder why it only affects the one side. You'll have to have faith. I and many other Jeep owners have had the same issue. I changed out the heater core (which was clogged and leaking a little) and now have great heat on both sides of the Jeep. There are two strategies: remove your entire dash or do the short cut. Removing your dash takes days of labor. I don't recommend it. The shortcut involves removing your glovebox, some trim panels, cutting the metal frame of your dash (you can JB Weld it back together), cutting the lines to your heater core, and splicing the new heater core in. It takes a few hours if you're handy and have tools. The cost is a little over $100. Search YouTube for Jeep JK Heater Core Shortcut. You'll find a bunch of How-To videos.
The video shows how to move the blend air door without the actuator operating. You asked how to move the blend air door unfortunately there are more videos on actuator replace. Also a key symptom of a clogged heater core has been only the passenger side is getting heat. As posted there are multiple videos on how to FLUSH the heater core and also remove/replace.
Yup, I know. You have heat on the passenger side. The further left (towards the driver) that you check the vent temps, the lower they are. I know that it doesn't seem to make sense, but that's the way it works. The blend door does not change the left to right heat blend. It changes the floor/dash/defrost blend. Trust me, the issue is your heater core. I've owned half a dozen JK's, and my 2008 has 350,000 miles on it. I've fixed this issue multiple times.

My 09 JK also presented this issue of little/no heat on drivers side. I took both heater hoses off under the hood and flushed the heater ore in both directions. I captured the output in a container to examine and quite a bit of debris came out. This was several months ago and I have perfect heat on both sides now.
