Default Rough Country 2.5” springs jk vs jku

I prob goofed …
picked up a 2.5” spring kit by Rough Country … was told it was for the 2 door , i researched , thought was for a 2dr jk, but after purchase it appears the part numbers is actually for a 4door.
manual only states JK …

planned on using this lift over pucks
and build off it as I go …

So can i use these springs or no?
i believe fitment is fine, but nervous about more than 2.5” lift and a stiff ride

input?

please and thank you …

ps: now i know why i leave things alone 😎

They're going to fit just the same, but yes, I'd expect you're in for more lift due to less weight than they are made to hold up. Even with the springs for a 2dr you'd likely net more than 2.5" of lift. I'd presume you cannot return the kit. "Stiffness" is going to be more about shocks, and the bigger issue with shocks, since you're going to net more lift than 2.5" most likely, is that shocks will be undersized. The biggest issue netting more lift than you expect is going to be decreased caster.

But, to sum things up, the axles and spring perches under your jeep are the exact same ones that go under 4drs, and the upper spring perches are the exact same ones that are on 4drs. The fitment is no different.

If you can return it, that is what I'd do. You're better off not trying to work around a mistake.
