Default 2008 JKU "Command Car" Build

This 2008 JKU I have owned since new. Originally a white X with black fenders I slowly added, changed, swapped and ran it in different configurations. In 2025 it was looking worn although I had kept the interior in good shape with seat covers, floor mats, and routine cleaning. Luckily my brother-in-law and his son do body and paint work. We schemed out a retro themed Wrangler based on ideas I had and scouting ideas on the internet. When the new "41" Jeep color came out we decided that was a great OD paint to use. We stripped the Jeep down last summer, pulled the hood, fenders, interior out and painted. The interior is actually a colorized 41 bedliner like you use in a truck. No carpet and I rewrapped all of the wiring in OD loom. I have completed painting the door panels and some of the necessary interior trim. Eventually I will update the dash and center console. It's been a lot of fun. Yes, all of the bumper and hood numbers are not random, they have a connection to my fathers and my service. The number 144028 on the hood is the build number from the assembly line that Jeep provided me a few years ago.
