Do you remove the plastic panel underneath the bumper and just bolt it on? Does it requires any drilling? If you dont mind my asking how much did you pay for the skid plate and what brand?

I have ordered one and have seen one installed on another JK.

It replaces the plastic airdam. I think it installs with out any drilling.

FWIW, our bumper comes with one. For an additional $264 over the price of this Mopar skid, you could have a real bumper, a skid plate and a place to mount a winch if you want.

according to the brochure it says the following - "The skid plates also allow an optional hitch receiver to be installed" is this true, how low is it? I wonder if it will affect the approach angle.
