Default Stock Muffler removal

I am installing new exhaust. How do you remove the stock muffler hangers from those rubber connections that are attached to the frame?

Thanks

I spray mine with a good lubricant and pry the hangers off with a big prybar. Works good.

I got the left side off with just my hands but I couldn't do the right side. I didn't have anything to pry with so I just cut it off and bought a new one.

I agree lube and pry bar is the way to go. But its even better if you can wait until its 75 or 80 degrees. I couldnt get mine off at all when it was 35 out, and they sure were a pain when it was 55.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. The soap idea sounds interesting.
