The recommended wheel width range for 33" BFG M/Ts is 7-9". Most people like to run wheels on the smaller end of the recommended range because they hold a bead better when you air down your tires.

I would go with some 16x8 Soft 8's. They look good and they're about $50/wheel. I'm not sure about backspacing, but I think 4.5" of backspacing is what is recommended for a 12.5" wide tire.

Yeah - even 4.75" BS seems to clear nominal 12.5" - 13" section widths, depending upon the tire.

Plan B - if you want to keep the cost down, just get a set of wheel spacers for $50/rim, and use the stock rims for the 33x12.5's.

People are running 7" rim and 12.5" section widths with no problem....it works better off road anyway.

They'll work great, and you'll be able to keep the OEM rims instead of cheap steelies, etc....which weigh more and eat more gas, etc.

I am running 15x8 cragar with 4"back spacing with 35" tires with no issues. If you can find a 15" rim with 3.75" back spacing it would be better. I am only talking about a steel rim I don't think a 15" aluminum rim would work.

If you are worried about clearance of the caliper, make sure you try your rim on before you get the tire mounted, or move up to 16" rims.

Stick um on your stock wheels. They'll fit.

Nothin's cheaper then what you already have!!! worst case scenario, you have to get a couple of spidertrax spacers... 200 bucks. Push the stockers out 1.25"'s, slap on the 33's and all's good!
