Default BB lift with JKS

Has anyone used the BB kit with the JKS ACOS to obtain the lift height that they wanted? I only ask because it seems that most people are happy with the ride of their BB kits, however I would like to gain a little more fender clearance for the 35" that I plan on running. Any input would be great, also please post pics if anyone is running this combo. Thanks.

What kind of budget boost kit are you thinking of? If you do puck spacers, than don't do the JKS ACOS, it's unsafe because all you're doing is putting stiffened height on top of your factory coils - you're messing up the geometry of your axle and your control arms. Remember that 2" or more of lift, you need to adjust your wheel and when doing 2.5" or more of lift, you need to watch your front track bar and relocate your rear...

My suggestion is this, do the JKS ACOS either by themselves (because they can be moved anywhere from 1" to 2.5" in height), or use them on top of your factory or aftermarket coils. With 2.5" of height, you can easily fit 35" tires with minor to no rubbing depending on your wheels backspacing. Don't put them on top of puck spacers, I just have a bad feeling about that.

Hope that helps.

Any time...I may be a Newbie, but I more or less know my stuff. I think a 3" lift fits your tires perfectly and well within a nice budget that will keep your Jeep a daily driver and an off-road monster. Besides, they're pretty common and I know that if you do go above 3", you very well may have to change out your driveshaft because of the stress you'd be putting on the weird angle. Definitely do 3", you'll like it - besides, I've seen a Teraflex 3" with 35x12.5 BFG M/T's and it was so wicked.

Anyway, start modifying and rip up the trails.

I tried finding the 35" tire show off thread...no luck, but here's the link to take a look at the JK's with 33" tires. some have no lift, others are anywhere from 2-3" in lift.
