Exhaust Wrap
I removed the stock muffler and installed a magnaflow muffler directly below the driver seat. From outside the vehicle it produces a nice sound but when driving I can hear an annoying drone coming up from the floor boards. Also, it gets pretty hot under there as well. A heat shield will take care of the heat problem but not the sound problem so I an curious if any one has actually wrapped a muffler with the stuff.

x2 what Sasquatch said. Plus if you are worried about rust...you could probably wrap the top side of the heat shield in the wrap. That might help, just need to make sure it isn't in contact with the body or it would defeat the heat shield functionality. That speaker matting can be bought at Bestbuy or some of the Autozone/Advanced Auto Parts guys might have some too.
Oh ok, well ya know you could do some of the speaker matt, the expensive stuff forgot what it's called (DynaMat I think), about a 1/2" thick or better, silver coated, sticky and you can cut to shape, pull all the carpet out and lay this in then recarpet, it would be really quiet I bet.
