haha...well when I put in the 2" body lift this week it'll be a short shift 
. Actually we're cutting it at the apex above the tranny, welding in a 2" 1/2" rod and heat/bending as required to keep from having to cut the inner boot or belly pan.
Nobody makes a short throw yet for our JKs, you might check with B&M though and see if they are designing one.
