Default OK now I am confused....

So I talked to Northridge and decided on the OME 618/619 kit. probably with the new track bars. He assured me that was all I needed for my 07 unlimited rubicon.

then I get on here and see brake lines and disconnects and what have you and I am worried again. I really want the kit but I am afraid of missing a part and screwing my truck up.

Could anybody post what is needed and what is optional / recommended.

I would really appreciate it.

Default kit

don't think about it too much. start wit the ome kit (wich is great) and latter if you want something else you can ad on. you already have disconects. as for brake lines ,you don't need them with the amount of lift your getting.

Default confused

I think by the time you finish reading all this so called help and threads about what you should do you'll be way more confused than before. start small and go from there as you learn. then you'll know what you want for your jeep.

Since he makes his living selling parts, and he is telling you, you don't need to buy more parts from him to do this, logic tells me you're good. But then logic was never my long suit, you know, after all I do own a Jeep.

The shocks will limit your travel so you do not need brakeline extensions and depending on if you have the electronic front sway bar or not it would be a good idea to get some disconnects.

The OME kit is great right out of the box but you also have the option of adding what ever else you want to it.

thanks for the replies guys.

I did read that thread, it is what got me worried.

I have disconnects but from what I read the arms will be too short.

And the comment about the brake line relocation or else popping a line loose made me shudder...
