Default FYI Mickey Thompson MTZs=Horrible

For those of you eyeing up these tires I would look elsewhere. Here's why: I have had these tires for about 9 months and have had a horrible vibration from the start at highway speeds (65 and over). I have gotten them road force balanced, had the rims checked, and a couple trips to the dealer. I then went to the top jeep mechanic in the area who specializes in extreme modifications and he said it was the tires. He had the same tire, same size, same problem. I wrote several emails to Mickey Thompson and they replied with a bunch of BS. I'm now in the process of finding someone who will shave them down. Hope this makes your tire decision a little easier. There are a lot of good tires out there and this is not one of them. BUYER BEWARE!

How are they off-road? If you bought an MT for its comfy, quiet street ride, of course you're gonna be unhappy!

Haven't had a problem out of mine....the ride is the same as the Uniroyal STREET tires I had before.

I am running these in 33's. I have no problems at high highways speeds and they work great offroad. Sorry yours aren't working out. Maybe there is another problem?

Love my 35's. Quiet, handle great, and rip offroad.

Same here... nothing but good things to say about these tires.
