Default How long did your stock Driveshaft last?

Hey guys, curious as to how long stock drive shafts are holding out.

Second question is what did you replace it/them with?

My front has definitely croaked at 15000 miles. I think it got the kiss of death when I went to 6 degrees castor, but I am sure it was done or close to done then anyway . It started as a small occasional vibration, and is now major, to be removed this afternoon.... with much muttering, bloody knuckles, and cool beverages to stay my temper..... I will be 4x2 until I order, either a woods or J.E. Reel

So, lets hear your numbers

Paul

My Sahara is also lifted with a 4" Tearflex and my drive shafts died in 3k miles. I had a local shop build mine. Both front and rear installed less than just the costs of the other brands.

Got about 3,000 miles from my front drive shaft. Ripped the boot off by contact with the auto transmission pan. 3" Black Diamond lift (3 1/2" net lift in front). Replaced with a Phoenix Rack and Axle custom shaft.

LOL, mine started throwing grease after a few thousand miles at 4" w/ about 5.5 degrees. I had ran it for a while w/ a 2" BB though.

I still haven't put in my front shaft yet

Oh, and....

GO DAWGS!!!!!

i still got mine on there at 27000 miles... i have a four inch lift thats been on there for the past 10000 miles and no issues... i have a manual tranny so no auto skid pan to tear up the boot. and if i remember right i'm at 7.5 degrees castor... still going strong and i intend to run them till they die. the front has a nasty angle on it coming outa the T-Case from the 4" lift and 3/4" spacers in there, but still works great and no vibes. Rubi rides nice and smooth
