Default teraflex 3in lift ???

Does anyone have much experience with this lift on a 2 door JK? I am about to install one and have concerns on drive shafts, tire size choice ( mine is an x model with the dana 30 and 35 I think), I have 33's now and a rough country 2.5 in lift and want to go a little bigger. Terra flex told me that I may need a set of rear upper control arms, Has anyone else had any drive shaft trouble and if so what drive shafts do I need , and does anyone have this lift with 33s with a pic. I have searched for some info on this with mixed results thanks

33's are going to look small on the tera 3" kit. I have 35's and they look pretty good with it.

I had no drive shaft issues. The only thing I needed to add to the kit was an adjustable front trackbar.

I see that you have an X what gears do you have and how are the 35s doing power wise. So you did not have to do anything else other than the track bar??

I would NOT run 35's with a D35 rear diff.

Is the diff cover more like an oval shape, going lengthwise from left to right, or does it have a cover that's a lot bigger on the left than the right?, etc?

A pic or two if you can't tell might help.

Examples -

D35:

D44:

Hope that helps!

Mine looks like the one on the bottom , but I did not think that the x models came with 44's on them at all. it is 2007 2 door x, how do I tell on the front, do they say anywhere on the diffs or the vehicles,

This lift looks PERFECT. Not too tall, not too short, just right.

There was a short run of X's that came with the 35's in the back. Most of them, though, are D-44's.

The fronts are D-30's. I don't think that has changed any, and that the D-44 fronts are rubicon exclusive.

I have the tera-flex kit 3" on my 07 JK 2dr Rubi so I do have the 44's and 4:10's and 35's works great. I have the stock driveshafts, but I also have all 8 of the adjustable control arms so that I have no problem with pinon angle. I think it is a great set up. I will be testing it out in Moab next week, leaving in 22 hours. All I have to do is put on two more skids and I am ready.

I have the 3" on my four door and love. I had 33" and they looked to small so I went up to 35". My wife thinks its too tall, but I think its good. Youll like.

I have the Teraflex 3" and added all control arms and 2 adjustable trackbars. I also installed an aftermarket steering stabilizer. I blew the rear driveshaft at 3k miles so I had a local shop build and install a new one. I am very happy with my Teraflex kit on and off road.
I have and X with a D44 in the back and D30 in the front running 4.10's. I plan to regear as soon as I decide on lockers. The 4.10's are just adequate with 35's. I live in Colorado so power is at a premium right out of the box. The Hypertech programmer made a big difference and helped mask the gearing problem.
I have a winch sitting in the garage (4 weeks) waiting for my @#$% Expedition One bumper.
