Default 3" lift or a BB???

I've only had my Jeep for 4 weeks and I'm pretty sure I love it more and more every day! I'm going to do a lift soon, but I'm torn between doing a BB or a 3" lift. I have met another forum member that lives about five minutes from me and he has a Full Traction 3" lift and loves it. What are the advantages / disadvantages of going with a BB or the 3" I will never run tires bigger than 35's and most of the trails I will be on, won't be solid rocks since I live in Ohio. I respect all the members opinions and any feedback would be great! Thanks!!

2.5" BB with 35's....

3" with 35's....

the teraflex 2.5" kit is complete, put it on and ride.
the teraflex 3" kit will need an adjustable front trackbar.

Both look great! Thanks for the photo comparison! I would like to install my lift myself. Is the 3" very difficult to install?

I went with 3 INCH BLACK DIAMOND LIFT, Its only been on about a week and I love the ride.. Very close to stock ride, I know a guy at my dealer ship who put it on does this kind of work everyday and he started at 8.30am and finished at 4.30 pm with 1 hour lunch break.. I went from
36 INCH fender height to 42 INCH in the front and 40 3/4 in the Rear.. I love the ride.

No, it was pretty easy. Took me about 4-5 hours. It's no worse than the 2.5" kit. You need to pull the coils on both lifts. Just give yourself enough time, and read the instructions first so you're somewhat prepared. Here's a good 3" kit write up to go over....

It may not be EXACTLY the same as the brand of 3" kit you decide to go with, but the basics are the same.

Like I said, go into it prepared, and have a good idea of what you need to do , and you won't have any problems. Have fun!!
