I'm not sure if they include any more than springs on the 3" kit and of course shocks maybe. I think you could get by on just the springs knowing your a 1/2" shorter on the shocks unless you bought some variable lift shocks that were ok for 2.5 or 3" lifts. I think you'd be ok.

Technically, YES you can get buy with just 3" springs and longer shocks when lifting the JK. You will definitely need a wheel alignment of course and probably check your toe-in too. My only suggestion is when going that high you can offset the balance and/or angle of your front and rear axles. So with that said, I would be a front/rear track bar for a 3" lift. As for the control arms, I've heard from multiple people that you don't need to worry about the control arms when lifting 3". Usually getting longer control arms though will improve ride quality with the lfit and help prevent a chance of wobble or roll. But I doubt you'll really get that unless you turn sharply and fast.

So YES, I think you're okay with a 3" lift...I would at least look into longer shocks and possibly a stonger/longer front track bar if the kit comes with the rear track bar relocation bracket.

Hopefully someone will back me up or have something better and more informative to say. But I hope this helps in the time being.
