Default ACOS is coming for the JK...

I recently contacted JKS Mfg about the availability of the ACOS (Adjustable Coil-Over Spacer) for the '07 JK. This is the response:

Jeff,
We are working on all suspension components for the JK. Unlike other companies that have rushed to market with substandard components and designs and have yet to become available to the public because they are now RE-DESIGNING......JKS will not stoop to that level. We will be releasing our designs over the next several months. The ACOS is scheduled for April-June.
Kind Regards,

Interesting, that seems to be what every company says but every company is also trying to make money. So you can adjust the size of the spacer? I like the idea but is that design really strong enough to do that and hold up to miles and miles of vibration and stress? It looks..... questionable. I won't jump to conclusions but why have other companies not built the spacers out of metal?

The ACOS is a top-notch product that will hold up to anything we can dish out. I've used them on a couple of TJs I've had. Another feature of the JK ACOS is that it will incorporate a hydraulic bumpstop and also gives us the ability to fine tune the height of each corner, just like having coilovers.

First off, let me just say that JKS makes some of the best aftermarket Jeep products I have ever run and I have always recommended them highly in the past. But, I'll be honest and say that I'm really am quite dissapointed that JKS would stoop to the level of talking smack about their competition in an effort to pump themselves up especially when their products are certainly excellent enough to sell themselves.

I agree...it makes them sound stupid to bash their competitors.
