35" rubber with a 2.5 RC lift and 15/16"wheels
I was originally planning on getting 33" tires with 15/16" wheels. lately I have been leaning towards going with 35" rubber since most people I talk to say they wish they would have gone with bigger tires. If I do this am I going to have a problem with rubbing?
The Rough Country lift is designed to clear 35s. It might rub in extreme articulation but from what I've read on here from people with this setup the rub is very minimal or nonexistant. It will depend on your tire as most 35s wont be exactly 35 i.e. a little taller or shorter. As far as the rims go, some 15s rub the brake calipers some don't.

I would think you should be fine. I just finished the Teraflex 2.5" lift on my mine, and I was originally planning to go with 37"s , but after seeing how it looks with the stock 29"s, I'm gonna stick with 35" tires. There are plenty of people who have run 37s and experience only slight rubbing at full articulation, so I'm thinking 35s should be perfect. But as said before, the backspacing on whatever wheel you get will affect that, too.
Here's a shot of my right rear wheel and how much space I have around it:

Yup, 35's will clear but you will experience rubbing at full articulation. We're running 34's on stock rims with RC 2.5 and the only rubbing we experience is with the front at full lock (on the sway bar), and the inner passenger rear only at full stuff. With 35's you might get some rub on the rock rail and that's only at full stuff. Most of the rubbing can ber corrected with proper wheel spacing or spacers but the you still might rub on the rock rail.

so it seems like my most cost effiecient way of handling this situation would be to buy a 1 or 1.5" body lift with the 35's on and watch the back spacing on the wheel i get, correct?
