Default Tera Q-Disco Install ???

Got my Tera QD's today & probably go out & lay in this stinky Pa. weather tonight for the install. My question is, are these just a (Plug & Play) type of an install... crawl under remove old & install new type of job or is there some little things I should be doing...

Nothing to it. Take off the old ones and put on the new ones. Did they come with the extra studs to hold them up when disconnected?

Yes the "Parking Post" come with them, but they changed all that....they now have a 3X3 piece of 90 degree heavy angle with a hole in each side. You mount this piece up under the Body Mount using their nut to hold it on., The Parking Post gets bolted right to that piece(horizontally), so no hole has to be drilled. in your frame I didn't get it on last night, but I did notice something that concerns me, I looked at my links last night on the JK, on the Passenger side link where the Track Bar mounts, it looks like I'll have no room to pull pin & Slide Disco off the Post, or it's very close. I'll no today, but surely Tera tried this design to make sure everythinhg works.,.

Mine are the same. You should have room to pull the pins. I would recommend attaching the pins to the new links with a small cable or twisted wire (safety wire) and put the pins in vertically. The pins have a tendency to rotate and fall down. This will keep you from losing them while driving.

Thx Renegade, that sure takes the pressure off my worry part of my brain, I'll definitely attach the saftey wire on the Key's. have just what I need at home. With your photo you cleared up another little bit of confusion, at the end of each links they have a slight tilt(angle),>>> one goes one way & the other end other way, and I see now how the tilt is supposed to be position when installed/connected. Great help with your pic. Thx a Million ......

I'm actually not positive about the tilt. I haven't added the adjustable track bar yet so my axle is about 1/2" off-center. I didn't notice that they were different until after they were on and haven't had any issues with them, so I just left them.

Ya I hear ya,..I'm still going with your tilt/angle.....it went well, no major problems. I really like the way these "Park" and keeps the sawaybar up & out of the way, very solid mount. Very easy to connect & Disco.
