this happened May 5th 08
It happened on the autoroute 15 near St. Agathe. He was very lucky. His airbag did not go off, so upon impact his body went forward and the moose went over top of him!!

this is a MOOSE 3x the size of any deer.

 

That JK looks mostly dead. This may come out as a tie.

 

WOW. thats some damage.

I guess some aftermarket bumpers wouldnt have done a thing for this impact.

I hope whomever owns this JK gets it totaled out and buys a new one.

Wow....the JK did really, really well. It looks like this was a full grown Cow Moose...which would be more like +1000lb animal. That JK actually did well against that Moose. I am surprised the Windshield held up so well!!! Worst part about hitting a Moose is there damn legs are so long that when most vehicles hit them they bust off the legs and the body just rolls into the vehicle crushing the driver and front passenger!
