Default Problem with Bestop Lower Half Doors on 4 Dr. JK

Just putting this out to learn if others have experienced problems with the Bestop lower soft half doors. I ordered both front & rear soft doors for my 4 door Wrangler X. The front doors went on without any problems. They function well and look good too. I started to install the left rear door...........WHAT A JOKE! The door was hitting the top body hinge and kept the door open to 12 inches. I couldn't believe it! ! So, I called Bestop and told them my problem. They said they've had a problem with doors having a 3 inch closure problem, but mine was unusual. I was advised to bend & tweek the upper hinge pin. I did so and got the door to close 3 more inches, but still had 9 inches to go. I GAVE IT UP! Going to return them! Took a closer look with friends and it appears they welded the 4 inch piece of steel at the top hinge position backwards. So the inletting space for the body hinge is facing backwards instead of facing the hinge side. It seems logical that if the front doors had the vertical steel piece inletted for both body hinges, then both locations on the rear doors should be inletted. After all, the bottom hinge pins on both rear doors are inletted. Has anyone had to send these doors back because of similar problems???

I got my rears to close by putting them in the front door hinges and pushing them past the normal closed positon (up against the front seats). This seemed to bend them enough.

However, wait until you try and get the door to close with the uppers! They are useless.

I also found the latches suck! My wife and kids can't open the doors formt the inside.

So my fronts are going back because my wife can't open the door with the uppers on and my rears are going back because they won't close with the uppers on.
