dent in my exhuast pipe?

dent in my exhuast pipe?
so i was under the jeep and right above the rear sway bar there is like a flat spot in the inlet pipe to the muffler....is this factory to provide clearance for the sway bar? or did the sway bar dent in the pipe? i dont have any pics...just thought you would remeber from being under there
