Lift Question - Currie or FT?
I'm starting to look more and more into lifting my Rubi. I really like the FT lift and the Currie lift. I've heard really good things about both of these lifts, but my question is has anybody had any problems with the Currie lift because of Track bar relocation brackets? This is a big concern for me, because from what I understand, relocation brackets are no good and end up causing the factory bracket to break. I'm not sure if the Currie relocation brackets are of a superior design as far as brackets go. I know the FT kits come with new track bars, so this is not an issue for them. I really love the way the Currie lift flexes, though.
As mentioned, I believe both kits would be great choices. I could not be happier with my Currie. The quality, performance and customer service are top notch!
I have tested my set-up a fair bit https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...ghlight=mowabb and have not had any issues with the relocation bracket. Currie now sells adjustable length front and rear trac bars: http://www.currieenterprises.com/ces...t.aspx?id=2914

The Currie brackets cannot be compared to the brackets that cause breakage. The only thing they have in common is they are brackets. The Currie brackets are very very beefy. They bolt on and weld on adding strength to the stock brackets. The design of them is superior to any other options out there.
Currie designed these brackets for a couple reasons, one important one is it raises the roll center up higher which helps stabilize the vehicle. There are other reasons that the brackets were designed the way they were, but I will not get into it because I really am not good at explaining it. Maybe David from Currie will see this and chime in here as he is the expert!
You will love the Currie lift, and in my opinion, it is superior to the FT kit for a couple reasons, one of which is all the arms come with grease zirks on both ends of the arms. The FT kits are hit and miss. Some people say their kit has zirks on both ends of the arms, and a kit which was delivered recently locally and installed did not. For the money you will pay for either one you should not have to put your own zirks in.
Performance wise you can't go wrong with either kit!

I would not be concerned about the relocator brackets, we sell lots on these to people that broke track bar brackets off due to improperly designed bracket.

Front Track Bar Bracket

In a perfect world you want to have both trac bar relocator and adjustable track bar. The bracket takes care of suspension geometry and the track bar re-centers the axle, have seen axle offset on a stock JK as much as 3/4".

The track bar bracket on the frame side can be an issue in some cases (not every lift) causing shock interference and can also cause interference if vehicle is equipped with a rear Antirock.

Our suspension system comes with Johnny Joints on both ends of all 8 suspension arms; which allows better articulation due to less binding of suspension components. Every end is greasable!!!!!!!!!!!!
