Default Rubicon 17s with a 1" body lift how big can my tires get

I bought an 07' Wrangler X with rubi 17s and I want to raise it up but not to much so my plan is a M.O.R.E. 1" BL my question is has anyone done this and what size options do I have for tires if I stay with my 17's

I have 17" wheels as well & also running the 1" M.O.R.E body lift..I plan on running 33's..As for your 17's you can probably either run 285/70/17 or 33x12.50x17..You might have to install wheel spacers though to eliminate any possible rubbing..

Thanks Aldaman I can't see going too much bigger than that without messing with a suspension lift and trim and stubbifing the front bumper you know the list keeps growing and the wallet keeps shrinking

There was talk on here about putting 35s under a Rubi with a 1 inch BL. They said you would need the after market flat fenders. I was thinking of doing this. I already have a stubby bumper so that wouldn't be a problem. I looked for the link but couldn't find it.

I just installed my MORE kit. It looks great , but if you have a 6-speed you have a lot more cutting than I thought on the inner shft boot so you can shift into 4th gear.

Get a Superlift 2" BB and some 35x10.5x16 tires. The narrower tire than the more popular 12.5 width fits a lot easier. My friend has Swamper SSRs in this size with the stock X steel wheels and only the 2" Superlift lift kit. He did have to trim a bit off the back of the sliders, but that's it.

I'll be buying the same tires for my 4 door and adding the MORE 1" lift to my 2" Superlift.
