Default 2" BB w/stock shocks

Search did not bring up anything: Is anybody running a 2" lift with stock shocks? Any problems?

Thanks.

If you lift it 2" and use the stock shocks you will lose 2"of down travel in your suspension unless you use shock extensions. Down travel in your suspension lets the the wheel drop into dips for a smoother ride and traction for control.

I have the TeraFlex 2.5" with my stock shocks, but it does require the use of shock extensions. I'm very pleased with it's performance, but will be upgrading shocks soon as I've been wheeling more and wnat something a little stiffer so I don't bounce as much.

Thanks guys. I am aware that I will loose 2" droop, but that's OK for now. Just want to make sure I don't bottom the shock out under regular driving conditions. I drove my WJ Grand Cherokee with a Teraflex BB and stock shocks for 3 years with great success (and then had the urge to go to 4" and faced a whole lot of challanges )

that's what i was going to recommend - just get a kit that comes with shock extensions and you're good to go
