Default 2-3'' suspension advice

I'm going to be picking up a Wrangler soon and am looking for a little advice on lifts. I will be using it for work and will be doing alot of driving on the street. My offroad driving is mainly beach and trails in the woods.
I'm looking for a suspension system to get rid of the rake and allow me 33-34" tires. Anybody know of a system that will improve my ride and curvy road handling as well as give me the lift needed. I'm thinking OME with AT's but am not sure yet. Thanks!

I have the 2.5 from rough country and I like it. It levels out nicely. I just installed Bilstein 5125 for rear and waiting for the front shocks to come in. But so far, I have no complaints

Of course, tires also play into the equation. The less sidewall you have, the better the handling will be (less sidewall flex in the turns). So you could always do this with it

but this will be up to you....

I'm not expecting a Corvette or Wrangler "SRT " but imagine some systems tend to have less body role then others.

You are on the right track with the OME kit! Very nice ride and better handling than stock!

I have the 2.5" Skyjacker (spring lift) and FT M-force shocks and it handles great on/off road. Nice firm ride, when I had the BB it seemed soft and bottomed easy. The 18" rims might help with little sidewall as well.

Ctimrun,

What do you mean by better handling? Is it stiffer than the stock suspension? I'm assuming you are running the HD OME springs?

Thanks

Sorry was doing more than one thing while I was typing this, didn't really mean better handling, i meant a better ride. I should have just typed what I meant. Basically the same ride but the front end doesn't dive down now when I brake...... Does that make sense?

I have the Rusty's 2" coil lift, it gives 3" on a 2dr and I have 295/75/16 Nitto Terra AT's. I drive about 75 to 125 miles a day so I need good handling and ride. My ESP never goes off and I don't baby it around corners.

If I had it all to do over again, I would do it exactly as I have.
