Default My Fabricated CB Aerial Mount!!

I wanted my CB aerial above the roof line to give me the best reception so I had this idea to make a bracket and mount it up the A pillar.

I took it to my fabricator and I'm very happy the way it turned out. I then had it custom coloured to the car to make it look as factory as possible.

Sorry about the dark pictures but we only finished installing it tonight!

an antenna that short will not outperform a longer antenna, even if the longer antenna is mounted lower and only sticks a few inches above the roofline. just moving it up higher doesn't replace the overall length of the antenna.

102" antenna is as close to ideal as possible. you have about 95 to go.

kudos for the effort. it looks damn good, but you wasted your time and money if the goal was to get better reception.

This is the stubby antenna for around town - I also have a long range antenna which is about 35 inches high.

Dude send me two of those, one for each side, and I will make my own cross beam with lights.

Looks beautiful!
