Which Body Lift?

I am considering a body lift and I cannot decide which one I want. I know that some use aluminum and other use plastic/poly spacers. I would think that the aluminum would be stronger but I also hear that is squeaks and will rub the paint; eventually causing rust .
Can anyone assist me in knowing the pros/cons of different brands?
Thanks

BDS makes a great kit IMO because they include rear bumper raiser brackets which makes it look nicer. You didn't state how much lift you wanted for a BL. The alum might oxidize, no biggie, as for rust or rubbing the paint, it's piss coated under the JKs anyway, you're not down there washing and waxing and if it's rubbing paint and rust vulnerability your concerned about then go with a different brand maybe, but potentially they could all rub your paint even the hard composite puck style.
I have the PA BL. Pretty easy install, nothing squeaks or rubs. If you get the PA kit, make sure the rear two bolts are the correct diameter. I don't know if all the JKs are the same or not, but my two rear bolts were a larger diameter than the rest. They are metric, so I had to order them, no biggie, but should have been in the kit. IMO the aluminum and the poly would be about the same strength.
Aluminum will NOT rust, it may corrode, but with the price of the aluminum ones, I would hope they were anodized. It will take a long time to corrode unless you are in a salt water environment.

I have the Daystar and recommend it. So let's see that's what 4 posts with 4 different answers?
That oughta help you out!
Anyway, the Daystar is a poly puck which is black so it's very hard to detect in the front(as opposed to the aluminum types)...of course I guess you could paint them if that matters. The Daystar kit spacers have a much wider footprint so they theoretically(sp?) spread the load of the body the same as the factory mounts. On the down side for Daystar, the kit takes longer to install than MORE because you have to remove 3 bolts and reinstall at each body mount as opposed to 1. Mine took about 2.5 hours, I've read most people with the others say about .75 to 1.25 hours. Daystar also costs more than the others.
Oh, and no squeaks with mine.

I have a TF 2.5 BB in the rear and OME Springs up front with an aditional 3/4" spacer. So I would say that I am about a 3" lift with 33s. I have about 40" of clearance from the ground to the bottom-center of my fender flares.
I am just looking for an additional inch (at least to my Jeep).
Thanks
