I like the idea, but I personally think it's over-ambitious. If you developed the basic camper shell with the fold open top, and got rid of all the toliet, heater, shower, cooking facilities, I'd imagine you could sell a lot of these in the 5K-10K range.
It looks like they are thinking more along the lines of completely converting a vehicle, adding 1000 pounds of gear, which would probably necessitate a hemi swap, etc. I guess someone would pay to have all those niceties in a go-anywhere platform, but not me!
