Im planning either to put on 33 11.5 nitto mud on my 16 in alloys the x model came with my truck or putting on 17 inch procomp 7005 with 33 12.5 17 will the gas really be that big of a difference on either i know it won't be drastic its not about the money either its a question im wondering or will it slow it down more so than the 16 drastcially thanks for any input thanks

 

It doesnt matter. It is the diameter of the tire that makes the difference. A 33" tire is a 33" tire. Your vehicle has no idea what size the rim is.

Weight plays a roll too but I doubt there is that much of a difference there.
