Default Jeep dives to right while breaking after lift install

During braking, heavy to medium breaking... the Jeep dives to the right after the lift install. The lift is a OME HD with adjustable track bars and a HD steering stabilizer, tires are 35's on Aev rims.

Any ideas on where to start?

I saw this happen on severa GM products over the years I worked on brakes. The first thing I would do is to raise the front end and have someone apply the brakes while you turn the wheels. On the GM products I saw, the clamp that was supporting the brake line to the caliper was rusted inside and pinching off the fluid flow to the caliper. I suspect the left brake line is pinched or something of that nature after your lift.. I doubt if you have a clamp pinching the brake line but a kink or something of that nature causing your problem.

had the same problem on my old cj-5 years ago. turned out that the piston in the disc brake cylinder got cocked somehow and jammed. i hit the brakes to make a left hand turn and drove uncontrolably into the oncoming lane. had to use Armstrong method on steering wheel to prevent headon. does sound like some kind of braking system problemeaux. check em.

Mine did the same thing. I believe it has to do with the alignment being off because of the lift. I just recently installed Teraflex Front Upper arms to fix my caster which was way off, and this problem went away.

Did you stretch out the rubber brake lines when you dropped the axle to put in the lift springs? Could have damaged a brake line...

Verify that you're alignment is on and double check that your axle is centered after the adj. trackbar install.

1- check air pressure in all tires
2- check crown in road some road are high in the center where the line is. and drop to the right
3- check steering wheel center and tire straight
4- check brake assemble left and right for function as well as contaminants
5- check all bolts post lift
6- check axle center
7- check alignment left- right caster camber

somewhere in there lies your problem

I'm going to check all these over the weekend, see if there is something obvious. I am thinking though I need some adjustable arms. I do have the flighty steering as mentioned above as well.

Checked all these things with the exception of castor, which I don't know how to check. Everything else checked out ok.
