After being on this forum for months, i thought i had it figured out. I have a bb with 33's, which is a perfect combo. But I hear of people running 35's on a bb, and people are saying that they are having little to no problems. How could this be? You would want at least a 3.5inch or 4inch lift to clear 35's at a full flex right? Thanks

The basic consensus is 35s will work with a budget boost with a certain amount of rubbing at full flex, so most guys are using a 1 inch body lift to compenstate and that seems to take care of the problem. How much rubbing is going to depend on the lift kit and the exact tire size your running.

Plus, won't you have to get new driveshafts, new control arms, adtustable trac bars, etc?

I would use a 1" body lift. Nothing higher. It can be unsafe, and looks bad.

For a TJ, yes. For a JK, no. A 2.5" lift is sufficient to fit 35's on a JK. If you experience rubbing, then you have the choice of either adjusting the bump stops, adding a body lift, or adding more spring or spacer lift height.

Many people on this board are running a budget boost with a 1 or 2 inch body lift. Since its not a suspension lift (your raising only the body) you dont need to mess with your driveshafts, control arms, trac bars etc...

I'm thinking of going with a Tera flex 2.5 lift and a 1" body lift. With HD bupers front and rear.Hopefully my lift would come out a solid 3".Oh yea and some rock sliders.I also left out I will run 35's with 4.5 back spacing .
