Default Rock slider + step = ShrockWorks?

Hi everyone,

Well, as I wait for my JK, I'm doing some shopping... One of the things I need are good frame mounted rock sliders + step combo. Are there alternatives to the ShrockWorks sliders, or is that it? According to ShrockWorks, the slider bar extends 4" from the body, which sounds reasonable. What do you think?

Thanks,
js.

I have the Shrockworks frame mounted rock sliders and yes, the tube slider bars are in my opinion more than adequate to act as a step. I got mine in semi-gloss black and will most likely add a strip of non-skid tape to the top of it so that people don't slip off when it's wet and/or muddy.

Got my shrockworks sliders also. I must say, great job on the packaging!

Looks like a fun easy install too! One problem though, the instructions say you need a friend..... ....what if you don't have any? I asked my wife, my kids, etc. they couldn't think of anyone either........

Edit: Great job on the sliders too! I just figured that was a given. But not everyone packs/ships stuff well too!
