Default Poison Spider Bomshells vs SOLID -- Any opinions?

Poison Spider is a bit more -- can I assume it's a bit better? :-)

I was going with SOLID, but my local supplier has Poison Spider Bombshells instead...

Thanks,
js.

They are both good covers but dont assume because something cost more it is better.

The psc bombshells are powdercoated the Soild's are bare.

Ah. Well, a little paint is certainly worth a few bucks. :-)

Thanks!

Personally I am not a big fan of either, but I think all of them get the job done. If I had to choose I'd go with either Crane or Blue Torch.

It's a Dana 30. I'm pretty sure the Dana 35 is solely a rear axle.

stock jeep combo's have been 30/35, 30/44 for years, and just recently 44/44

Default Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for their replies. I like the "lip-less" design of the Crane, so I'll probably go with those. They're a little more, but amortized over a few years, what's a couple of dollars more, right? :-)

Thanks!

Well, the "Crane High Clearance" dana 44 diff covers are difficult to find. One place says they're discontinued, and the other says they're backordered until June, but can't promise anything. Who to believe?

Anyone know where I might find two? Are they really being discontinued, and if so, why?

Thanks,
js.

I am only telling you what i heard and it may be a rumor but as far as i know Crane is no longer. I have not confirmed this and hoping this is not the case.
