Default Black Stainless Exhaust Tip

I am trying to find a black stainless exhaust tip to replace my Banks tip that keeps rusting and/or changing colors. This is my second one, and I am going to try to something else. But I am unable to find a tip with a 2 1/2 inlet. Any suggestions? I have called Summit and they don't have any that small.

How about powder coating it?

That may be my only option. I've called a number of vendors and can't find one.

I can't say I've tried it on the exhaust tip, but some of that high heat ceramic paint for calipers and rotors might hold up pretty well. Or maybe the high temp paint for engine blocks?

Sorry I haven't tried them out but it wouldn't be expensive at all and you could do it yourself. About $5.99 and 15 minutes of your time.

advanced auto parts carrys a 1200 degree ceramic paint. I've used it on 2 sets of pipes on my motorcycle...my dad has a bad habit of melting his shoes on them destroying the chrome. ruff the surface a bit and paint away. once its not tacky anymore let it get HOT it will bake it on and wont come off.

I use Rustoleum high-temp grill paint on my exhausts. It'll work like a champ. Cheap and easy to fix scratches.

There is a diesel performance company that sells black tips (Dont know the available sizes though)...It's pretty costly...Like the others mentioned you could try painting one yourself or getting it powder coated, which could be a cheaper route...

I called RPB and they only carry the larger size of inlets. The do it yourself painting may be the best bet.
