Rubicon Express 2" vs. Rough Country 2.5"
I think I've read every post on the subject of BB's by now, and I've narrowed it down to the Rubicon Express 2" spacer lift with monotube shocks ($499 from their website), and the Rough Country 2.5" with the Performance 2.2 shocks ($299). I've read that both offer 2.5" front coils and slightly less rear to level out the jeep.
Anybody have an opinion on which is better? Obviously I'm leaning towrds the RC because of the cost and less parts to be installed.

I did see a few versions with and without shocks or shock extendors. However, I don't know anything about the Teraflex shocks, but everything I read about the RE monotube shocks and the RC 2.2 shocks seemed to indicate that they were not too stiff and improved on the stock ride, so that is mainly why I picked those. Also, I wanted a lift with slightly thicker front spacers than rear to account for a future front bumper. From what I read both the rfont and rear Teraflex spacers were the same thickness.

When you decide what you want, check with Northridge. They are a little bit cheaper and you get free shipping. And occasionally, they will have a 5% discount on orders over $250. I bought the RE BB w/monotube for the same reasons as you and with the discount, got it shipped to my door for around $460. Teraflex didn't have the choices they have now when I ordered my BB.
I had a REBB, great kit, leveled everything out, but also had stock bumpers. If Tereflex would have had the choices that they have now,as denny said, I'd ordered from them. They have alot of options that can best fit your bill and also look ahead to what you may be adding in the future( bumpers winch etc)
