Default 2.5" Lift, What do I need to upgrade?

I was searching through the forums trying to find out what I might need to replace mechanically to insure the longevity of my jeep and the main thing I found that would need replacing is the front driveshaft. Now here's my question, I have a 4 door automatic, but its 4x2... do I have a front driveshaft ? Sorry, I'm kind of green when it comes to some things, if I don't, is there anything else I should look into replacing/upgrading?

nope, if you have a 4x2, you do not have a front drive shaft and you won't have any problems

So had I realized this earlier, I could of gone even higher without needing engine/driveline replacement parts, agh hindsight!

It happens, but let's not go down that road again.

I live in Florida, I don't go in the mud, climb mountains, fyord rivers, and I bought it for $18,000 with 3k miles on it, $7,000 cheaper than the 4x4's they had, need more reasons?

don't worry buddy. I have seen many, many write ups of guys that bought 4x2's and converted them to 4x4's with the stuff that THEY wanted..not factory stuff. You will be just fine. Enjoy wheelin, and don't let anybody get you down about buying a 4x2. In time, you can always upgrade.
