Default Gear change - now Auto Locker Light Flashes?

any ideas why the lockers are not engaging after a gear change?

most likely, it was reassembled incorrectly and the sensor pin is on the wrong side of the dog clutch. this happens all the time. unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to pull the carrier back out.

thanks WOL - i'm about at 500 miles so planning to crack open and put lube lockers on - for some reason i have a feeling i'll be cracking into the diff more often than planned.

Default WOW was dead on

That's exactly what happened - the sensor was on wrong side of clutch - and because it was on the wrong side it was bent when locker engaged- new sensor had to be ordered.
