If you don't have a winch there are holes for it. If you do you can mount it above the fairlead with the same holes, if you don't like that, we have ours on our dash with double backed taped while we are waiting for the prototype removable mount.

Mine is on the dash right now as well...Guess I will be mounting it over the fairlead hole as there is no winch on it yet.

I have a Lod, What I did was bought the cheapo plate holder and a couple of those really strong round magnets and put it on that way, I'll tell ya that sucker doesn't move, and when you go wheelin take it off so it doesn't get killed.

Cooltech has a plate holder that snaps onto a roller fairlead (you could also make your own).

Below is my "for now" solution to the problem (Sorry for the need to click the pics, but I don't have any web photo galleries setup at the moment).

I used (2) 1/4" x 2.5" bolts, with (8) 1/4" washers, (4) 1/4" nuts, and (2) 1/4" wing nuts to mount the plate using the holes that were already drilled in the bumper.

Attached are pics that should be mostly self-explainatory regarding the install.

The regular nuts hold the plate on the tips of the bolts and the wing nuts sandwich the bolts on the bumper, so the plate is kept firmly at enough of a distance form the bumper to make room for the fairlead and wire hook (I'm not using the roller fairlead, so a longer bolt would be needed if that's what you're running, since it is much thicker).

I just did this yesterday, so I can't speak for how long this lasts at highway speeds, but so far it's working great!

With our friend Leo's WugJeep, we made up a piece of 1/4" thick plexiglass just the size of the plate the mounted Mag light flash light holders to it useing the same width as the vertical rollers. Then mounted the plate and whaaaalaaaaa.......... one licence plate holder.

I will get pictures of it soon.

Good to know, I may go check out some magnets today and see how I like that solution for now.

Four Maglite "D" clips do the trick quite nicely. $12 total.
