Default Here is my JK in Progress

Well it took a while to install my lift one handed (shoulder surgery) and the front bumper is still getting welded up by my father-in-law (didn't trust my left handed welding...hardly trust my right handed welding). But I thought I would share some pics of what I've got so far. First a list of what I did:

1- Rotated the sway bar disconnect motor.
2- Removed factory muffler and installed straight thru muffler in front of rear axle.
3- Cut two inches off rear of rocker guards to give clearance for tires.
4- Bashed in body seam with BFH in front of rear wheel well to give clearance for tires.
5- Designed and built front shorty bumper that uses factory tow hooks and fog lights and mounts my winch.
6- Built temporary rear tow hitch until I finish design on rear bumper.
7- Installed 4 inch superlift lift kit.
8- Installed 17 inch black spoke wheels from JEGS and BFGoodrich Mud Terrains in a 37x12.50R17.

I think that is about it. Here is a few pics.

It's a clip on thing to make the seat belt easier to grab. With my arm being in a sling I put it on. Once my arm gets out of the sling I'll take it back off. I think I got it from Dr.Leanords or some place like that. It's also nice because I'm old and fat and it's hard to twist around for the seat belt but I won't keep it in because of that. It's just too embarrasing to tell people that

I took it on a quick trip to Logan today via Pisgah road so I snapped a couple of pics of my Jeep with my wife for reference to the size of my Jeep.

Thanks. The mirror is just one I picked up a couple years back from Pep Boys. It came with the arm and everything. I just mount it to the upper black bolt by the upper hinge. I like the mirror because it is slightly convex so you can see behind and your blind spot. I need to pick up a second one for the passenger side though.

Did not know you could sit on the hood, without permanently denting it. Did you check it afterwards, my hood is made of tinfoil thick metal.

I didn't check it really close but didn't notice anything. We got into some major mud after I took that pic so now the whole Jeep is covered in mud. I'll check it out closer when I wash it. However, I think the pic was worth the first dent...the first one is the hardest.
