I am always really skeptical about bolt in cages or even cage kits for that matter. They just don't offer that great of protection. The one pictured doesn't LOOK to be anything more than an extensive "sport" cage. My advice to all those wanting to put some protection in their Jeeps is to go to a reputable local 4x4 shop and have them think up something that is right for you. If they are reputable... you will be able to nit pick on every part of the design and as long as you work with the builder (assuming he/she is knowledgeable) you will end up with a very solid cage.

We have the orckhard cage in every jeep we own. And have rolled with them twice without any issues at all infact the cage sustained zero damage. Before you judge a "bolt in" cage you may want to try and see this cage it is very strong.

I'm not too sure what some of you are thinking the diff between a sport cage and a "real" cage are but with the JK since the roll cage is part of the body and not just bolted in if the product in question is called a bolt in then it's a add on sport style cage. a full cage will require lots of cutting, welding and sheetmetal....

since cages is one of the things I do I was prety unhappy when I seen that the cage was'nt bolted in cause I will be building a cage and it's going to be allot more work than I was hopping for....
