Hi

I would like to put a US stock bumper on my JK as I do not like the Ozzie stock bumper supplied, however I think that the bumper was modified in Australia to allow for our larger licence plates. Before I order a front bumper from the states I would like to make sure that my licence plate will fit in between the fog lights.

Yeah, I'm not sure yet what the shipping cost will be yet?? Probably more than the bumper

 

But I'm assuming this bumper will weigh less than a steel teraflex, therefore keeping shipping cost down, also not many vendors will ship steel bumper O/S.

 

I didnt actually measure but ima say that there's no way in hell an Aussie plate is gunna fit in between the lights. Assuming your plates are the same as the Euro plates im thinking of?

 

No there actually a lot smaller. They range from 14" for standard issue to I think around 10"-12" for custom slim line plates.

Looking at the pics I think the plates should fit but I'd like to b sure before I go through the hassle and expense.
