So the Superwinch LP8500 Winch is 399.99 and the Superwinch EPi 9.0 Winch for 599.99

Differences are the 9000 has a bit more speed and 500 lbs over the 8500. plus it comes with roller leads and a snatch block.

Who thinks that is worth another 200 bucks? Im just curious.

I just picked up the smittybilt on 4wd for 299.00 the 8000lbs one and Im satisfied with that...I also have a warn 9.5ti on my cherokee and needed something cheap for the JK...I might eventually switch the 9.5ti onto the JK but thusfar the smittybilt has been great

I have an Epi9.0 and I really like it, haven't had to use it yet, but it looks nice! Thought I don't know if that's a sale or not, that's what I bought mine for a month ago.

I actually was ready to get the EPi9.0 until I read that they didn't fit well in my bumper, so I ended up with the Warn M8000. In hindsight, had I known the winch wouldn't fit, I would have gotten a different bumper. Not that I don't like the Warn, but everything I read about the EPi9.0 is awesome.

I have the EPi 9.0 as well, but I have had to use mine. It's $565 plus free shiping at Amazon.

Enclosed silenoid and external brake were why I chose the Epi over the warn.
