Default 2" Spacer Lift & Longer Shock Questions

First off sorry but I tried searching first but did not seem to find the info I needed.

I have a 2" Superlift spacer system now without longer shocks or shock extensions. I was looking at upgrading to Bilstein 5100 longer shocks to get more flex out of the current system and have them for a 2.5" coil or 3" coil lift system in the future. The only problem is I read everywhere that if I add longer shocks to my current system I will need to add rear break line brackets, longer rear sway bar links and add either a rear adj track bar or bracket. Can I get away with just putting the new shocks on now and waiting for the other things later when I upgrade? or do I really need to get this other stuff now.

The other issue is I plan on running my stock rubi tires and wheels for awhile and most companies that make these kits recommend wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels which I don't have the money for now. I guess the fear is that the rear swaybar links can hit the tire if you don't have spacers. Can I get away without the spacers or new wheels for now?

Future plans are to go either with a 2.5" lift or 3" to fit 34" or 35" tires. Trying to spend as little as I can now to get ready for the future and maybe have the option of just adding a few parts later to get my lift done right.

Any input would be great thanks.

yes. you can just install new shocks now and you don't need anything else. rear brake line drop brackets would be good to have but they are cheap or if you prefer, are actually easy to make.

you will only have a problem if you installed new longer rear links. if you did, install them on the inside of your mounts and you should be just fine.

Now if I don't replace the sway bar links will they limit the downward travel of the new shocks?

The more I look at this the more I think I should just sell the pucks and buy the 2.5" coil kit from Teraflex with the shock extensions. How do the stock rubi monotubes compare to aftermarket shocks would I gain anything by going to the Bilstein's?

If I go with the longer sway bar links or new lift I can use the standard wheels as long as I mount the links to the inside away from the tire right?

Thanks again for all the input I learn stuff on here all the time. This forum has informed me greatly but also drained my wallet.

Ok so I hope I did his right? I just ordered the shock extensions front and rear from Teraflex along with the rear brakeline brackets and longer swaybar links in total it was $135 dollars. This was a lot cheaper than buying new shocks plus the links etc.. In my talks with Joe at Teraflex he said no-way on the 2.5" coil kit without using spacers or aftermarket wheels this made me go the route of adding the length to my 2" system as is and planning on upgrading at a later date with a 2.5" or 3" lift.
Did I do the right thing? Will this setup work?

I don't know why I am worried but for some reason I fear I forgot some mundane thing. I figure I will mount the new links to the inside to avoid the wheel issue. Is there anything else I should be worried about like the fact that these new items were made for a 2.5" lift when I really only have 2" spacers.
Should a buy anything else to make this work right like a rear adj track bar I already have the front?

Any help or anyone else that as done what I am describing with any input would be awesome.
