Default Good steering stabilizer for stock JK?

Can anyone recommend one. I am looking for one that will mount in the stock location but provide stability for bump steer and tighten up the steering. I have no life and all the ones I have seen require a lift.

BDS makes one for around 45 bucks that you can install in about 10 minutes. It bolts to your stock location using stock hardware and it works pretty good.

X 2 on the Teraflex and sorry to hear you have no life!

You shouldn't really be experiencing bump steer with a stock Jeep. How much air pressure you runnin'?

Hellbound,
I've heard nothing but good things about the RC dual stabilizer kit.
Thats the one I'm going for, when it comes to control I WANT OVERKILL!

the single aftermarket stabilizer is like getting a steak from applebees, better than dennys and will solve the steak craving, but still nothing extravagent....
this dual setup is like going to hyde park (the most elite steakhouse around here i've ever been) and getting the filet mignon... its out of this world....

You should study this thread before replacing your stock steering stabilizer:

I was going to get that one, but I remember reading somewhere that it does not work with stock JKs. Is this correct?

Will I notice much tighter steering with the teraflex, or would I need a dual stabilizer for that, like the RC dual?

x3 on reading the myths thread. Need to determine what youre really trying to fix first.
