Default Teraflex 2.5" BB, New Swaybar links??

Just had my dealership install the Teraflez 2.5" BB. They said I needed new front and rear swaybar links because the stock ones werent long enough? They moved the rears to the front because they would fit there and tied the rears up??? He said it was safe to drive this way? Is this correct?

I do believe the front links are too short. I installed the same lift to mine last weekend, and noticed last Sunday when I jacked the vehicle to double check all of the bolts, the links on the front sway bar pushed down due to jacking the vehicle (resting on top of the track bar or steering, can't remember), which I would guess would occur again if I was off road. I was able to push them back with a 2X4 as I lowered the vehicle from the jack, but it is a problem. So I am ordering a longer quick connect/disconnect link kit. Teraflex offers one for vehicles with 0-3" lifts. I need to find out the actual length to make sure they are longer than the stock.

Not so sure about switching the front a rears links....

I just went out and measured my Tera QD's, they are 10"s long & measured my stock ones at 5 1/2". They work great on mine with 2 > 3/4" spacers. Hope this helps you.

Moving rear SW links up front is in the FT 3 inch write up (jk writeup section).

Cool. That answers one question and makes sense cause I had em add Skyjacker 3/4" spacers to the front to level it out a bit. No for the second part. The rear swaybar is disconnected and tied up. They said it was safe to drive that way, freeways, etc. till I got new rear links. Anyone ever done this?

My cherokee came from the factory without a rear sway bar. So, I guess you would be okay without it there. I know that my cherokee was a little unsafe when I had the front disconnected too.

Anyone sell longer replacements for the rear, other than the discos. Don't know if I need discos front and rear.
