Default A few OME lift questions..........

Still kinda undecided between the MD or HD kit, but I'm currently running a 33x12.5 on 4.5 backspacing. Also running stock bumpers at the moment too. Have some rubbing issues when disco'd. Pretty sure the MD would be perfect for my setup right now, but what I'm looking for is flexability. Down the road I may want to go with a 35" tire and add bumpers. Are the shocks the same with the MD kit and the HD kit? If so, I'm gathering down the road I could just upgrade the springs if necessary right? Also, I was wanting to run a stubby front bumper on the MD kit which weighs about 80-85 lbs. Is this enough to effect that kit to where I'd run some spacers or anything? Anyone have pics of a 33" tire with the HD kit? Seems like it might not be enough tire for that lift w/o aftermarket bumpers and stuff and might look too small. From what I've gathered though this is a very nice lift and most seem to be satisfied with it!

Default OME Lift HD

I'm very happy with the hd lift, but currently I only have 265/75 16's, hope to increase to a 33 or 35 in the near future. I currently have an aftermarket stubby and a winch. New rear bumper on the horizon. But lots of room for bigger tires.

Here are the 616 and 617 springs which are the MD rear and HD fronts for the 2 Door. The stance is about level front to rear with the ARB bumper on the front. The ride will be a little softer with the MD springs. I installed the lift before the bumper and found it to be a little on the stiff side without any weight on the nose. The weight of the bumper has helped that now, and the ride is pretty nice. Personally, if I were to run stock bumpers, I would opt for the MD lift. If I wanted a larger lift I would probably choose another brand, rather than going with the HD all the way around as I prefer a softer ride. Not to mention that the kit is kind of incomplete for any larger height.

Running 295 Nitto's with the MD setup (with front 3/4 spacer) from Northridge. Very good ride...and 35" would fit fine.
