Default Trackbar install

I just got my new front JKS adjustable trackbar, the problem lies in that my torque wrench only goes to 90#. Can I install this thing and torque it to 90# and then just tighten the crap out of it beyond the 90 and be OK? Do I need to go out anb buy one that goes to 125 and beyond? Thanks

i would highly recommend that you get one that goes to 125 and beyond. these will typically be longer and will give you more leverage to get you to where you need to be. plus, there are a lot of bolts on your JK that need at least 125 ft. lbs.

It is probably a good idea to get yourself another torque wrench, I scored mine out of Sears and are using it far more than I ever thought I would.....

That JKS is a sweet setup.....

Yes you should get a bigger torque wrench, hell if you were a little closer you could just borrow mine. Sears runs sales all the time and you can get one between $60-$75.

I actually tightened my front TF trackbar to spec at 125lbs and it still moved enough to scare the crap out of me when making left hand turns

I say get yourself a nice new and long wrench that will go up to 150 or so. You will need it going forward, may as well bite the bullit. Always nice to get a tool for the shop
